In this paper by Koenker et al., the authors analyze insecticide-treated net (ITN) use controlling for ITN access. Using the Demographic and Healthy Survey and the Malaria Indicator Survey datasets and public rainfall and climate data for 21 countries the indicator ITN use given access was used to estimate the effects of season on use.
